CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is proud of business management graduate Anthony Ciccarelli, who has devised a way to revolutionize the women’s shoe industry.

His patent-pending invention called High Pheels (pronounced peels) was recently featured in the Houston Chronicle and the Corpus Christi Caller-Times. High Pheels are covers that snugly slip over existing shoes, which dynamically alters their color, pattern, and texture; enabling one pair of shoes to transform into many.

Ciccarelli, who flew to Los Angeles, Calif., to audition for the ABC show "Shark Tank" to demonstrate his invention, is waiting to hear if he has been selected to appear on the show.
