Regional Science Olympiad Ranks Top Middle, High School Teams

Science Olympiad 2013

Teams from middle schools and high schools competed to advance to state competition at the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Regional Science Olympiad held February 23 on the University campus. The event, hosted by the University's College of Science and Engineering, encourages students to engage in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers.

The 2013 Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Regional Science Olympiad rankings are:





Middle School:

1st place: St. Stephen's Episcopal School, Austin

2nd place: Seashore Middle Academy, Corpus Christi

3rd place: SST-Discovery, San Antonio

4th place: Flour Bluff Junior High School A, Corpus Christi

5th place: Harmony School of Discovery, Houston

6th place: Kaffie Middle School, Corpus Christi

7th place: Westbury Christian School A, Houston

8th place: Harmony School of Excellence-Endeavor, Houston

9th place: Westbury Christian School B, Houston

10th place: Flour Bluff Junior High School B, Corpus Christi

High School:

1st place: Hendrickson High School, Pflugerville

2nd place: Westbury Christian School A, Houston

3rd place: Harmony School of Advancement A, Houston

4th place: Harmony School of Advancement B, Houston

5th place: Harmony Science Academy, Houston High
