CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas– The Department of Art at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will present the Texas Photographic Society’s (TPS) 26th Annual Members Only Show, juried by “National Geographic” Senior Photo Editor Elizabeth Cheng Krist, from Friday, Sept. 13, through Sunday, Oct. 13, at the Islander Art Gallery, 4024 Weber Road in the Hamlin Shopping Center.

The opening reception will be held on Friday, Sept. 13, from 6-8 p.m. at the gallery.  The opening reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.

"It's not every day that we can have our work in front of a Senior Editor for National Geographic Magazine,” said Barbra Riley, Professor of Art. “It's a great teaching tool for my classes and anyone who is interested in photography."

TPS publishes and exhibits members’ photographs in print, online, and in photography exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe. TPS membership includes photographers ranging from students to dedicated professionals. Together, they share an enthusiasm and dedication to fine photography.

Islander Art Gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
