CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – University students were invited to eat with Izzy the Islander, student athletes, and members of the Islanders cheer and dance teams as they handed out free samples from the new Islander Food Truck on Thursday, April 24, in the Center for Instruction Courtyard.
Students certainly found something to satisfy their taste buds as they had the opportunity to sample an array of foods including hamburgers, chicken tenders, tacos, quesadillas, and waffle French fries.
The Islander Food Truck’s regular operating hours are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. See a full list of menu items with nutritional facts for all on-campus dining locations at http://www.dineoncampus.com/islanderdining/.
