CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Programs for Academic Student Support (PASS) at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi held a graduation celebration on Friday, May 2, to honor more than 80 spring and summer graduates from Student Support Services (SSS), the SOAR STEM Program, McNair Scholars Program, and the ELITE Graduate Program.
More than 65 guests attended, which included parents, family and friends, and administrators. Graduates were recognized and given graduation gifts including a medallion, business card holder, certificates, and/or professional padfolios.
PASS programs serve the needs of low-income, first-generation college students and underrepresented students in higher education. The major goal of PASS is to increase student retention and graduation. Each of the PASS programs provides a pathway to student academic success.
