CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas –The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Alumni Association held an Islander Alumni Summer Bash on July 24 at the Executive Surf Club, located at 309 N. Water St. in downtown Corpus Christi.

Around 75 alumni came dressed in their Islander attire, to enjoy food, fun, and make connections with some of the newest members of the Islander Network. Guests also enjoyed games, prizes, and a visit from “Izzy the Islander” during the mixer.

“This annual event is a great opportunity for our alumni to network with other alumni and to learn about all the wonderful things happening at our campus,” said Lori Garza, Director of Engagement. “We also welcome our soon-to-be alumni so they can learn about all the benefits our alumni association has to offer.”

The event was free and open to alumni of all majors who graduated from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Corpus Christi State University, Texas A&I University at Corpus Christi, and the University of Corpus Christi. Attendees were encouraged to mingle and take advantage of new networking opportunities with fellow Islanders as well as get to know their Alumni Officer.
