Ideas Week Corpus Christi Strives for Innovation and Development in Coastal Bend

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas— Ideas Week is returning from Oct. 3-9, 2014 with events and programs that feature innovative, clever and fascinating aspects about Corpus Christi.

Ideas Week Corpus Christi ” is designed to bring and connect young and accomplished professionals of the community and for them to showcase their accomplishments.

Highlighted events include:

  • Super Hero Dinner that honors Texas A&M-Corpus Christi University President and CEO Dr. Flavius Killebrew as Momentum Man, a fun take on the Green Lantern super hero, at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Holiday Inn Marina.
  • The Future of Flight at noon Oct. 8 at the University’s Coastal Bend Business Innovation Center in Flour Bluff; and
  • The A&M-Corpus Christi’s Distinguished Speaker Series featuring Daymond John, from the TV show “Shark Tank,” at 8 p.m. Oct. 8 at the University’s Performing Arts Center.
