CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi alumnus, Jeffrey Riddle, has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the Harbor Playhouse in downtown Corpus Christi.

In his new position, Riddle will focus on fundraising, public relations, and management for the Harbor Playhouse.

“I am excited to bring youth, energy, and intelligence to an organization on the upswing and to continue the incredible momentum they have achieved in the past year,” said Riddle.  “I will support the staff, board, cast, and crew through every production by any means necessary.”

Riddle graduated in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and Social Media in December 2013. Throughout his undergraduate career, Riddle worked at the Corpus Christi Country Club as an Assistant to Tennis Professionals.

Having also served as a graduate assistant, Riddle credits his polished professional skills to several of his professors including Dr. Michelle Maresh-Fuehrer, Dr. Cheryl Spaniol, and Dr. Stephanie Rollie-Rodriguez.

“All of my professors at the Island University provided real world applications throughout my course work,” said Riddle. “I am already using a lot of strategies and techniques I learned in my classes.”
