CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The School of Arts, Media and Communication (SAMC) at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and the Corpus Christi Concert Ballet hosted the second evening of Bailando Dance Festival Adjudication Concerts on Friday, Oct. 3, in the Performing Arts Center.
Special guests included principle dancers from Ballet Austin, Ad Deum Dance Company, and Urban Souls Dance Company from Houston, Texas. In addition, during the performance, a panel of experts critiqued the works of choreographers from all over the state of Texas.
The 15th annual Bailando Dance Festival, which was open to the public, ran from Thursday, Oct. 2, through Saturday, Oct. 4, on the University campus. Other events included master classes offered in a variety of dance styles from teachers and professionals from across Texas, and a Gala Celebration Concert on the final night featuring select performances from the adjudication concerts.
