CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Student groups and organizations at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi performed a creative array of musical skits before a packed house at the 15th annual “Islander Revue” music and dance extravaganza held Friday, Oct. 24, in the Performing Arts Center. The student talent show was one of numerous events held during Parents’ Weekend 2014.
During the extravaganza, sororities and fraternities competed to win up to $1,000 in cash prizes. Contestants were judged on entertainment value, musical quality, creativity, and chorography.
The student organizations that competed this year include: Zeta Tau Alpha, Alpha Gamma Delta, Gamma Phi Beta, Delta Delta Delta and Kappa Sigma. The show also included a performance by the Islander Dance and Cheer Teams and Islander Improv.

“Islander Revue,” presented by the University’s Student Foundation Association, is sponsored by Whataburger. Proceeds from the annual event fund student scholarships.
