CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Megan Sigur, an alumnus of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, has accepted a position as an Associate Attorney working on Insurance Services and Litigation teams at Paul Frank + Collins P.C. in Burlington, Vermont.
Sigur graduated magna cum laude in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Minor in Philosophy from Texas A&M -Corpus Christi. She went on to graduate magna cum laude from Vermont Law School in 2012.
“I owe a great deal of credit to the history and philosophy departments at A&M-Corpus Christi,” said Sigur. “My upper level classes, in particular, really helped hone my writing and critical thinking skills to help prepare me for my success in law school.”
Paul Frank + Collins was established in 1968 by attorneys Allan Paul, Joe Frank, and Peter Collins, to focus on litigation, criminal work, and real estate law. Since its establishment, the firm has expanded its areas of concentration to accommodate more complex legal issues and now represents Fortune 500 companies and locally-based businesses.
“Your college experience is largely what you make of it,” she said. “Rather than striving to take the easiest classes that require the least amount of effort, challenge yourself by taking classes outside your comfort zone. You may be surprised to uncover interests and abilities you never knew you had.”
Before accepting her position at Paul Frank + Collins, Sigur worked as a judicial law clerk for the New Hampshire Superior Court in Laconia.
