CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi has been recognized for having one of the Best Online MBA Programs for 2014-2015 by AffordableCollegesOnline.org. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi was ranked at No. 31 out of more than 500 accredited four-year schools reviewed. A total of 68 schools made the list.
“We’re proud to be considered one of the best schools in the nation for students who want to pursue an online MBA,” said Dr. Flavius Killebrew, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi President and CEO. “Through our affordable and accredited program, we provide students with the cutting-edge tools they will need to solve complex business challenges in a changing global economy.”
The online MBA program is fully accredited by AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and can be completed in a minimum of 12 months.
Through the program, students develop the analytical, technology, and communications skills needed to advance beyond any plateau in their career and improve earning potential.
The online MBA program consists of 10 courses for students with a bachelor’s in business administration. Non-degree students must complete four prerequisite courses: Foundations of Accounting, Foundations in Economics, Financial Management Concepts, and Statistical and Decision Analysis.
The Affordable Colleges Foundation, a leading resource for online learning and college affordability information, recently analyzed the data of the four-year schools to determine which of the institutions exceed expectations when it comes to the online MBA program. Programs were analyzed on several cost, quality, and student support-related metrics, such as student-faculty ratio, percentage of faculty with a Ph.D., number of online MBA options, number of MBAs conferred, and full tuition of online MBA program.
