The Islander Gallery Welcomes ‘Rob MacInnis: The Dog and Pony Show’ Exhibition

The Islander Gallery at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi proudly welcomes “Rob MacInnis: The Dog and Pony Show” exhibition on Friday, Jan. 30, through Saturday, Feb. 28, featuring photography by Brooklyn-based, Canadian artist Rob MacInnis.

The exhibition, which is currently being showcased at the Islander Gallery at 4024 Weber Road in the Hamlin Shopping Center, will include works from several of MacInnis’ Farm Series portfolios, such as “Farm Family,” “Our Name in Lights,” and “Panorama.” An artist lecture was held on  January 29, followed by an opening reception on January 30.

MacInnis studied Directing at New York Film Academy before receiving a BFA with a Photography Major from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. He recently graduated with a Master of Fine Art at the Rhode Island School of Design. His prints can be found in both private and public collections both domestic and international. MacInnis has been published in Enroute Magazine, Eye Weekly, The Globe & Mail, The New York Times, Juxtapose Magazine and is shown internationally.
