University Theatre Presents Pulitzer Prize-Winning Play ‘Water by the Spoonful’ by Chicana Playwright

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas –The Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi presented a production of Chicana playwright Quiara Alega Hudes’ “Water by the Spoonful,” from March 10-14 in the Wilson Studio Theatre in the Center for the Arts. 

The 2012 Pulitzer-Prize-winning show by Hudes was the second installment in a trilogy.  “Water by the Spoonful” is described as a heartfelt and poetic mediation on lives on the brink of redemption and self-discovery during a time of heightened uncertainty. The play was directed by Alison Frost, Assistant Professor of Theatre in the College of Liberal Arts.
