The Island University Recognized as Top 100 Southern School That is the Best Bang for Your Buck

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M University-Corpus Corpus has been identified as one of the top 100 Best Bang for the Buck among Southern universities by “The Other College Guide: A Roadmap for the Right School for You,” which is published by the Washington Monthly magazine.

“It is an honor to be recognized as a top 100 Best Bang for the Buck Southern university,” said Dr. Flavius Killebrew, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi President and CEO. “Recognitions like this make it clear that we provide our students with the best education in cutting-edge fields while also looking out for their budgets.”  

Students who attend the Island University can expect to become leaders in many competitive areas such as Computer Science, Nursing, Engineering, and Geographic Information Science.   

Washington Monthly ranked all Southern universities based on net price, how many students graduate, and whether graduating students earn enough to pay off school loans. Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi net price for all students was calculated at $9,602.
