CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Career Services held a Student Employee BASH luncheon honoring student workers of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi on Thursday April 9, in the University Center, Anchor Ballroom.

The luncheon, which was attended by more than 400 student workers and their supervisors, kicked off National Student Employment Week. The event featured a free meal, music, a photo booth, and a slideshow of student workers around campus. Student employees were able to enjoy a meal with their co-workers in a fun, relaxed environment.

“Texas A&M-Corpus Christi employs over a 1,000 student employees at any one time,” said Sharon Herrera, Job Developer for Career Services. “They perform invaluable services with energy, enthusiasm, and dedication, and at the same time, they develop important skills and experience to make themselves successful later in life.”
