CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi has made the list of the top 50 online MBA programs in the nation for 2015-2016. The online MBA program at the Island University took the No. 22 spot. The ratings were tabulated by www.affordablecollegesonline.org based on a program’s cost, supportive services, student teacher ratio and accreditation.
“It’s exciting to see our online program get this kind of recognition,” said Dr. John Gamble, Dean of the College of Business. “Our students enjoy the program’s flexibility along with the affordability that comes along with the high-quality accredited education.”
The A&M-Corpus Christi online MBA program, accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, consists of 30 credit hours and can be completed in as little as 12 months. Tuition is $11,820 dollars for in-state students and $23,970 for out-of-state students.
“The program helps students develop the analytical, technology, and communications skills needed to advance beyond any plateau in their career and improve their earning potential,” said Gamble.
Many consider the MBA one of the most valuable degrees available to students and professionals today, says Affordable Colleges Online in their ranking report. In addition to serving as an advanced academic credential, the MBA gives graduates a higher level of job security, a wider range of career options and greater earning potential.
“I chose the online MBA program at A&M-Corpus Christi for convenience and cost,” said Ali Bhimani, a Clinical Information Analyst at a local hospital, and recent online MBA graduate. “The cost was about half the prices of others institutions I looked into. Plus, because the program was online, I was able to manage both my studies and my full-time job.”
