President’s Mardi Gras Ball Honors Top Donors to the University

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi community joined President and CEO Dr. Flavius Killebrew and friends to celebrate Mardi Gras and honor the top supporters of the University for 2015 during the President’s Mardi Gras Ball on Saturday, Jan. 30 in the University Center, Anchor Ballroom.

The President’s Ball is a special occasion to recognize the cumulative giving of donors to the University. The generosity of these donors improves the lives of students by providing academic opportunities for current students and generations to come. Those honored at the event will have their names and images added to the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Wall of Recognition, located in the Legacy Room at the University Center.

The 2015 honorees are:

Platinum Inner Circle of Excellence:

  • The John G. and Marie Stella Kenedy Memorial Foundation

Gold Inner Circle of Excellence:

  • Coastal Bend Community Foundation
  • Mrs. Celika Storm

Silver Inner Circle of Excellence:

  • Jessie Frances Neal Foundation

Bronze Inner Circle of Excellence:

  • The Marine Technology Society-Houston Section
  • The Meadows Foundation
  • An anonymous donor who has given generously to the engineering program
