United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce Honors Islanders

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The best of the best of Corpus Christi’s business leaders were recognized at the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce’s 2017 Bizzy Awards. Among the community members and businesses making a difference, Dr. Kelly Quintanilla, President and CEO of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, and Adam Farrell ’01 were honored. 

Quintanilla received the Dora Cervera Mirabal Women’s Leadership Award for her 23 years of dedication to student success at the Island University and serving on local community boards.

Farrell received the Leadership Corpus Christi Servant Leader Award. Farrell earned his master’s degree in education at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and is the Founder and CEO of Pinnacle Performance and Fitness. His business has generated nearly $40,000 and has volunteered hundreds of hours to various local and national non-profit organizations.
