Express Orientation
ADMITTED FRESHMEN AND TRANSFER STUDENTS: Join us for Express Orientation on Friday, January 12, from 1pm to 4pm to register for classes for the spring 2024 semester.
This free event is open to admitted students that still need to take care of business for the semester.
Check-in at the University Center, Lone Star Ballroom.
You can look forward to receiving help with:
- Registering for classes
- Taking a TSI Test between 8am and 12pm (see below)
- Meet with financial aid and housing representatives.
- Submit shot records or final transcripts.
- Meet with scholarship representatives.
- Meet with housing representatives.
- Pick up your student ID card.

An opportunity to take the Texas Success Initiative Assessment will be offered between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Please visit the Office of Academic Testing’s website to sign up. A score report will be provided after registration. Students cannot register for classes without TSI scores or exemptions/waivers on file
