Biography 

Dr. Sherman graduated from Texas A&M University with a Ph.D. in Management in 1997.  Dr. Sherman was Vice President-Operations with The Orlando Sentinel newspaper and Tribune Company before he pursued his Ph.D. He taught at the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University from 1997 to 2004 and served as Management Department Chair for the Graziadio School from 1998-2002.  Dr. Sherman returned to his native Texas in 2004 when he joined Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi as an assistant professor.  Dr. Sherman became an associate professor at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2008 and a professor in 2022. Dr. Sherman currently is serving as the Management and Marketing Department Chair within the TAMUCC College of Business.
