Heat index values up to 112 are expected, with higher values at isolated locations. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
Please use caution if you must be outside: drink plenty of water, take breaks, and wear light-colored, loose clothing.
People may suffer from heat-related illnesses at any time of the year but particularly during hot, humid conditions. Because the climate at TAMU-CC is conducive to these conditions, people must take preventive measures year-round to reduce their risk.
