Digital Learning and Academic Innovations (DLAI)

DLAI oversees digital learning support services in the following areas.

• Support the development of new programs or revision to existing digital learning programs.
• Develop, deliver, and evaluate faculty training on the effective implementation of pedagogical principles, educational technology, and quality course design for digital instruction.
• Lead the quality assurance and peer review of digital courses to provide faculty with ongoing feedback and assistance to meet nationally recognized quality standards for the delivery of their digital courses.
• Provide training and guidelines on how faculty can create accessible digital instructional materials.
• Research innovative technology and teaching practices to support faculty in optimizing digital teaching and learning experiences.

DLAI offers faculty Instructional Design consultations.

• Instructional designers are assigned to each college and can guide course design, best practices in digital learning, or effective use of available educational technology.
