Dr. Miguel Cid Montoya’s Wind Engineering Research Featured on KRIS 6 News

Dr. Miguel Cid Montoya is an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He specializes in wind engineering research, specifically building safer, more cost-effective bridges, like the Harbor Bridge. Montoya and his team’s research were highlighted in a KRIS 6 News article that described an overview and the goals of the research. The students assisting with Montoya’s research who are also featured in the article are Anya Carlson ’26, a civil engineering major, and Jose Jaquez ’25, a mechanical engineering major.
