Scholarships

All undergraduate Studio Art & Graphic Design students are encouraged to apply for our annual Department Scholarships. Historically, we have awarded over $20,000 in total each year. Applicants must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 in their major and be enrolled in at least 12 semester hours.

Submission Deadline: Scholarship materials are due by April 1.

To apply, download the scholarship application and portfolio template files above. Submit the completed application and completed portfolio documents as PDF files by April 1 to Sindi Alvarado at sindi.alvarado@tamucc.edu. Documents over 20mb should be linked to accessible One Drive folders for download.

If you are renewing a scholarship, you must submit a new portfolio and application each year.

Additional Scholarships

Endowed Undergraduate Scholarships 

TAMU-CC has three main Endowed Scholarships cycles:

• Academic Year: Open October 1 – March 1
• Spring: Open August 15 – November 15
• Summer: Open February 15 – March 31

Graduate Studies or Endowed Scholarships

Graduate College Application Deadlines:

• Spring: November 1
• Summer: April 15
• Fall: June 1
