An article about how three universities of the University System of South Texas would not meet a 13% annual cut in annual spending ordered by Governor Mark White due to how the cuts affect the system's efforts to meet the needs of institutions in South Texas. They presented an alternate plan to help with costs to include a four-day work week, and cutting utilities, salary savings, faculty and staff travel, and supplies and equipment budget deductions at CCSU.
