Innovation Center Graphic Designers Win ADDY® Award

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Two graphic designers at the Coastal Bend Business Innovation Center at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi were recently awarded for their design work.

This year, Stephanie Castaneda and Gera Shirley won a bronze ADDY® award for their environmental redesign of the Innovation Center building’s first floor.

Castaneda, an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design, has been with the Innovation Center for nine months and helped with its rebrand and design.

Shirley has worked as a graduate assistant at the Innovation Center for two and a half years and has brought home several ADDY® awards in the past.

For more than four years, graphic designers at the Innovation Center have been recognized at the American Advertising Federation’s American Advertising Awards (ADDY®).
