Let’s jump in. The adrenal body type: Along with keto and intermittent fasting, the adrenal body type may need to have more protein than other body types. You can have up to 6 oz of protein with each meal instead of 3 oz. You also want to get plenty of sleep and do long walks to keep your stress down. Potassium, plenty of healthy cholesterol, and vitamin C are also beneficial. The ovary body type: With the ovary body type, you want to do 100% organic and non-GMO foods. The ovary type is very sensitive to endocrine disruptors, like herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides. Additionally, you can do up to 6 oz of organic grass-fed protein. You should also have plenty of cruciferous vegetables, iodine, and higher cholesterol. The thyroid body type: With the thyroid body type, you want to stick to 3 oz of protein or less. This is because your metabolism can be slow, and you may find it difficult to digest a large amount of protein. Iodine (sea kelp is a great source) is vital to support a healthy thyroid. Additionally, you may want to stick to one meal a day and primarily have non-cruciferous vegetables—cruciferous vegetables can deplete iodine. Don’t go on a low-calorie diet! The liver body type: With the liver body type, you want to avoid having large portions of protein. Around 3 oz should be enough for most people. You also want to limit the number of nuts that you consume—they can aggravate the liver. Get plenty of cruciferous vegetables because they help support and repair healthy liver function. Start with lower amounts of fats and gradually work your way up. You can have huge salads—these are really important.
