Subscribe πŸ‘‰ @BetterCheatMeals if you want to hit your nutrition goals and eat the food you love. πŸ‘Š Serves: 6 (macros are per sausage roll) πŸ§€Ingredients Beef Mixture -1 lb (453 g) 95/5 ground beef -Β½ onion, finely diced -2 cloves garlic, minced -1 tbsp (15 g) Worcestershire sauce -Β½ teaspoon salt -black pepper to taste -1 egg white Rolls -3 low-fat cheese sticks (or string cheese, cut in half), I use Edam cheese sticks -4 sheets (144 g) filo pastry, about 4 sheets of pastry, cut into about 2in (5 cm) strips -1 oz egg white (for coating pastry) πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³Instructions -Preheat oven 400 F (200 C) -Mix beef, onion, garlic, seasonings, and binding egg white -Cut each mozzarella stick in half. -Lay each sheet of pastry on top of each other and cut filo pastry into 2in (5 cm) strips. Assemble -Divide beef into 6 portions. -Place mozzarella piece in center of each portion and wrap the beef completely around the cheese stick. -Place beef-wrapped cheese at edge of pastry strip and roll up. -Brush tops with egg white. -Place on lined baking sheet. -Bake 22-25 minutes until golden and cooked through 160 F (71 C) Storage: -Refrigerate up to 4 days -Freeze up to 3 months -Reheat at 350Β°F in the oven for 10-15 min to keep the pastry crispy until hot through or microwave #mealprep #weightloss #fatloss
