Rami Malek admitted he spent hundreds of hours studying footage of Freddie. Watching the clips below will only give an even greater appreciation of just how remarkable the actor's performance really is. It will also remind everyone, yet again, what an extraordinary man and irrepressible spirit Freddie himself was. He was also bluntly honest about the challenges thrown up by four equally talented artists working together. It should come as no surprise that some of the clips towards the very end of the segment are extremely rude, too... Whatever the size of his, or anyone' else's ego, Freddie was quick to clarify one thing during a French interview. Asked about being the leader of the band, he immediately said: "I’m not the leader of the band, by the way. Everybody calls me the later of the band. I’m just the lead singer. There’s no such thing... I’m not the general. We’re all four equal people. Four members. I’m just the lead vocalist." However, he couldn't resist the obvious rude puns when describing working with the other three band members. BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY: HOW MUCH DOES RAMI MALEK SING? MEET THE' SECRET VOICE' BEHIND THE FILM The film Bohemian Rhapsody does not shy away from the divisions and arguments in the band, with so many strong personalities and creative differences.  In another interview, Freddie acknowledged that egos and opinions often clashed. He said: "It happens all the time. It’s like a cockfight.' Naturally, he couldn't leave it there and added: "Four cocks fighting. God, it’s getting nice this…" WATCH THE INTERVIEWS BELOW (Warning: Strong language and sexual references) The clips show just how playful and smart Freddie was, always one step ahead and pushing boundaries, knowing he would get a laugh or a reaction. This was the side Roger Taylor and Brian May have stressed they wanted to show in the movie. BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY IS OUT NOW ON DIGITAL AND DOWNLOAD, AND ON DVD AND BLU-RAY ON MARCH 3
