Learn more about Dr. Tishler at his website Visit our website at Shop our products at 0:03 the patients that I have put on higher CBD strains have not had the best outcomes you know I think that at the moment CBD is very much the darling because it's non-psychoactive and that that's wonderful but the problem with something that's non-psychoactive is we don't really havea good way of discerning from the 0:27 placebo effect which has its own validity but it's not the way to make sort of scientific and medical progress so you know what we really need to do is be able to do blind studies you know when we look at the studies that exists for example on CBD as a pure agent and now i'm not talking about the kids with with the you know seizure disorder but 0:45 if we really start to look at treating adults who have anxiety or even psychosis the doses they get used in the positive outcome studies are usually about an order of magnitude larger than anybody in the cannabis use world is using 800 1200 milligrams 1:03 right exactly so the point is thatwhatever you're doing at 10 milligrams or 20 milligrams or 40 milligrams of CBD it at least it's such a drop in the bucket that you can't really say whether it's doing anything 1:22 at least compared to these studies that use much higher doses and there's real scientific reasons why they picked these higher doses in terms of these studies work on the basis of figuring out what does seems to provoke things an outcome and then going on test it in a more rigorous fashion 1:35 now I think it really remains to be seen what the value of CBD and the ratios are people over the years of handed me you know samples of such-and-such a product you know and they might you know have a 21 CD ratio or something like that and you look at that you're right great but total milligrams in this entire jars like 20 the point is it's very hard to know what that means and at that concentration you know what are you supposed to do with that little while chug it.
