In this video, Iβm going to explain how to do keto and intermittent fasting without making any major lifestyle changes. Some people have trouble adjusting to a ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting. During the period of keto adaptation, some people may feel sluggish or tired during the day when they need to work. Hereβs something you can do to have a little more energy, especially in the beginning as you adjust to your new keto fasting meal plan. If youβre unsure of how to fast at work, try omitting dinner, rather than the meals you have during the day. Start with breakfast around 8:00 a.m., and donβt eat again until youβre hungry. If you eat breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and then lunch at 12:00 p.m.βthat gives you 20 hours of fasting! Your stomach is mostly acidic in the morning, so it's ready to digest protein. This means the morning is a great time for a high-protein, high-fat meal that will sustain you for the rest of your day! This earlier eating window also prevents you from going to sleep bloated. Bloating and poor digestion can interfere with sleep quality. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 57, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting.
