The rapid reduction in weight that Keith has been experiencing from his low-carb (i.e. keto) diet has been great! But, for me, his wife, the best perk has been the complete stopping of his snoring! And, it only took one week on his diet for it to end. Here at 2 Fit Docs, we have been documenting Keith's weight loss journey live, in front of you. He has lost more than 51 pounds in the past 21 weeks following a very-low-carb diet known as a ketogenic diet. For the past 20 years, Keith has snored. Originally, we thought it was because he was overweight, but because of the fast turnaround that came after changing his diet, it is more likely that the culprit was inflammatory foods. The processed foods, refined carbs, sugar and grains that he was eating were causing inflammation, which was interfering with his breathing at night. If snoring or sleep apnea has been a problem for you, you'll want to watch this week's 2 Fit Doc's video. A ketogenic diet is an anti-inflammatory diet. Keith's daily diet is low in carbohydrates, high in fat and fiber, and moderate in protein. Take our 21-Day KETO Challenge and get daily keto menus sent to your email inbox!
