Male aesthetic procedures are trending upward📈 & it’s no surprise that men care about the way they look, feel, & would like to appear more attractive. Plainly put, men age & have areas of concern too🤷🏼‍♂️. While medspas are typically geared towards women, we cater to being a men's spa too!💆🏽‍♂️ When we created @themedspaaustin, we wanted to create a spa where both men & women would be comfortable- where individual needs and desires can be addressed discretely and with compassion. We offer various services specialized for men, including hair restoration, the J-Shot💉 for enhancement, the P-shot for sensation, The Big D Wave shockwave therapy for ED, and BioTe hormone treatments by my nurse practitioner 💊@karenzizzo_np. 👉🏾Here you can see me with my fellow @dr.tori_aime performing one of my very popular injectable procedures called “The J-Shot”! 🧜🏼‍♂️ This involves topical local anesthetic (& injected local if needed). W/ a blunt cannula I then inject under the top skin layer one of the hyaluronic acid fillers like @juvederm Voluma, Ultra Plus XC, or @therhacollection for male enhancement of girth mainly, & some length. This treatment takes only 30 minutes & patients can resume normal activity after. Results are immediate, w/ full results seen in 3-4 weeks. Sexual activity can be performed about 4-5 days after treatment. Since I use hyaluronic acid fillers for the J-Shot, patients have lower risk of issues over other more permanent methods, such as penile implants (which I don’t perform). HA is a naturally occurring substance in the body, so reactions are rare. These fillers are used across the face, lips & the back of the hands to replace volume, and areas such as the cheeks that are sunken.
