Hi everyone, this next question I think is very interesting. Can I take CBD oil with prednisone? The answer I believe is yes. And it may actually be helpful in that setting. Some patients when they take prednisone develop a restlessness or agitation and sometimes that can be severe, CBD may reduce those possible side effects of prednisone. So the combination may actually be helpful in some people. The other side of the coin is that prednisone is metabolized in the liver to prednisolone. And that metabolism is important because prednisolone is the active molecule with that medication. The next metabolic step after prednisolone uses a CYP enzyme in the liver that is also modulated by CBD. So the second step in metabolism of prednisone can be affected by CBD. However, the first step in the metabolism of prednisone should not be affected. And that's the important part. So in summary, CBD can be helpful especially for treating some of the side effects of prednisone and it should not cause any problem with liver metabolism. So overall, I think it's okay, just be careful as always, start low go slow. And if you have any questions about your prednisone Be sure to ask your regular doctor.
