Both the heating mantle, stir rod, and vacuum help the hexane purge off from the THC / CBD, up the fractionating (Vigreux) column, through the condenser, and into the recovery beaker and finger catch. The cold water pump along with the dry ice catch help keep the hexane cool to ensure it doesn't continue into the pump. We are able to make *distillate with this set up as well. (Optional)
