Program Details
The program is offered 100% online with synchronous classes conducted in the evenings via Zoom. Cohorts begin each fall and spring semester and will follow a prescribed course sequencing of (2 to 3 courses) per semester. The curriculum, including all field experience courses, is designed to be completed in three years (fall, spring, and summer semesters each year). There is no residency requirement; all interactions with faculty and advisors can be done virtually.
With its emphasis on Hispanic mental health, the program faculty trains students to assess, conceptualize, diagnose, and treat Hispanic mental health issues and clinical presentations through a lens of cultural sensitivity. Synchronous class meetings will be held each week during specified times.
