Avery Richardson

Student Ambassador

Avery Richardson is a Junior Marine Biology major. Her research focuses on designing probes and primers to enable sensitive and accurate quantification of the endangered Rota Blue Damselfly (Ischnura luta) in environmental samples (eDNA) through qPCR. Avery is particularly interested in studying effective, genetics-focused population monitoring to enhance conservation efforts and improve species management strategies.
