Collegiate STEM Institute (CSI)
CSI is a four-week summer bridge program for incoming TAMU-CC freshmen and transfer students who plan to major in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), Kinesiology, Nursing, or Health Sciences.
Upon completing the CSI, participants will be eligible to receive a $600 stipend.
CSI students will...
- Become acquainted with the campus, its staff, and its faculty.
- Take part in engaging STEM activities led by faculty and staff.
- Learn strategies beneficial to new college students.
- Participate in volunteer service activities.
- Attend the Personal Financial Education Bootcamp

- Enroll in TAMU-CC for the Fall of 2023 semester
- Be a freshmen or transfer student in the Fall of 2023
- Plan to major in STEM+ field of study, including...

CSI participants are expected to...
- Attend all CSI sessions
- Provide their own internet connection and electronic device for the Virtual CSI.
- Follow the rules and regulations outlined in the Collegiate STEM Institute Handbook.
- Complete all required components including:
- STEM activities
- Volunteer service activities
- Personal Financial Education Bootcamp
