Faculty Reference

To help support undergraduate student retention (1st – 3rd year), undergraduate faculty may be asked to submit course progress feedback in the system through completion of 5th Week Course Progress Reports for select undergraduate courses during the long Fall or Spring semester. In general, 1000, 2000, and select 3000/4000 level courses (LEC, STU, PRL, LAB w/ credit hours) will receive a 5th Week Course Progress Report.

The current Course Progress Reporting period will run from:

Monday, February 19, 2024, through Monday, February 26, 2024.

How to Submit a Course Progress Report

The following instructional video is available to help guide faculty with completing Starfish Course Progress Reports.

Please note, not all faculty will be asked to submit a 5th Week Course Progress Report for all undergraduate level courses taught during a given Fall or Spring term. If you are a faculty member who did not receive a 5th Week Course Progress Report for a course and would like to create Starfish alerts (Kudos, Flags, Referrals) for students, you may do so by raising alerts manually outside of the Course Progress Report. Please see our “how-to” guides for creating alerts outside of the Course Progress Report (Instructional Video | Handout).

The current Course Progress Reporting Intervention period will run from:

Friday, March 1, 2024, through Tuesday, April 5, 2024.
