Community Garden
Growing our community
The Garcia Center Community Garden educates community members on the basic principles of gardening, growing food, good nutrition, and making simple, tasty recipes using locally-grown food.
Beautifying our community
In addition to the natural beauty of gardens and trees, our garden area hosts a series of colorful murals led by local artist Mayra Zamora and painted with help from the Teens Building for Tomorrow Camp students. The murals include "El Jardin," "Un Amor/One Love," "CC Westside Serape," and "Si Se Puede."
