The STEM-Tronics Camp is sponsored by the National Science Foundation CREST Center for Geospatial and Environmental Informatics, Modeling and Simulation.
Students will explore the programs offered by TAMU-CC’s College of Engineering and Computer Science through interactive, hands-on activities that integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Geospatial Engineering and Land Surveying Camp
This camp is designed to introduce geospatial engineering and land surveying to a new generation of students. Campers will utilize surveying equipment such as total stations, levels, LiDAR, drones, and GPS to map Ward Island. Campers will engage in friendly competition for the chance to win prizes, create ArcGIS Story Maps, and participate in geocaching activities. Additionally, campers will have the unique opportunity to learn from guest speakers who are actively working in the fields of geospatial engineering and land surveying.
