Weave is the online assessment database system utilized by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi for managing and documenting institutional assessment activities. It supports academic and administrative units in planning, measuring, and reporting outcomes to demonstrate continuous improvement and compliance with SACSCOC (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges) and other accreditation standards.
Weave plays a vital role in ensuring the university’s commitment to excellence by providing:
- Centralized Reporting: A single platform to document assessment findings, action plans, and supporting documentation.
- Continuous Improvement Cycles: Tools to create meaningful outcomes, measures, and reports that close the assessment loop.
- Ease of Use: A user-friendly interface for faculty and staff to upload data for core courses, academic programs, and operational units efficiently.
In this section, you will find:
- Training Resources: Step-by-step instructional guides and videos on entering data, adding findings, creating action plans, and attaching supporting documents.
- Consultation Opportunities: Personalized support for creating meaningful outcomes, identifying appropriate measures, and addressing assessment-related challenges.
- Annual Reporting Deadlines: Clear timelines for submitting findings, continuous improvement reports, and action plans for different units across the university.
We are committed to developing additional educational resources to further support university-wide assessment efforts and enhance the user experience.
