Islander Homecoming 2025

Lee Alumni Welcome Center becomes the Homecoming Headquarters and will be open to welcome guests for ticket and merch pick up. Open until 7 p.m. on Friday, March 1.

• Islander Clean - University Center (9 a.m.)The TAMU-CC Student Volunteer Connection, along with campus representatives, will beautify Ward Island with a spring cleaning. The event starts at 9 a.m.
  
  
• Baseball Tailgate- Cheer on the Islanders Baseball Team with a Tailgate at Whataburger Field.

• (Alumni Only) Alumni Faculty/Staff Gift Pick Up - Lonestar Ballroom (Noon - 3 p.m.)
  Small mixer (cookies and lemonade)  at the UC for Alumni/Faculty and Staff to pick up their "Homecoming-themed" gift between Noon and 3 p.m. We will also have iPads available for last minute Alumni Corner ticket sales.

• City-Wide Bluesday Tuesday (All Day)
  Everyone in the Coastal Bend is invited to wear the color blue on Tuesday, Feb. 27.
  
  
• Anchors Aweigh - Anchor Plaza (12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.)
  The Island campus will showcase our Islander Spirit and all things blue at Anchors Aweigh. The event includes games, snacks, music, and more. The Islander Alumni Association and Student Alumni Association invite the campus community to learn more about TAMU-CC’s oldest tradition, the painting of the anchor at Anchors Aweigh. Both events take place from 12:30  p.m. to 2:30 p.m. With an official kick off around 12:30 p.m. Anchor Plaza

• Student vs. Faculty/Staff Basketball Game - Dugan Wellness Center (7 p.m.)
  The always-entertaining students vs. faculty/staff basketball game will take place at the Dugan Wellness Center at 7 p.m.
  
  
• Islanderino - UC Anchor Ballrooms (9 p.m. - Midnight)
  Students can test their luck during Islanderino, sponsored by Campus Activities Board. The event runs 9 p.m. to midnight and is a glow casino-inspired night that invites students to wear their best blue and green attire.

• Women’s basketball - American Bank Center (7 p.m.)
  Students are admitted free with a current SandDollar$ ID. 7 p.m. American Bank Center.

• (Alumni Only) Annual Meeting of the National Islander Alumni Association - Legacy Room
  Year-in-Review for the Alumni Association, recognition given to outgoing members and voting for new Board of Director members.
  
  
• Lighting of the "I" - East Lawn (6:30 p.m.)
  The beloved tradition kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on the East Lawn.
  
  
• (Alumni Only) Homecoming Alumni Honors Banquet - Anchor Ballroom (6:30 p.m.)
  The Islander Homecoming Honors Banquet will take place in the University Center Anchor Ballrooms beginning at 7:00 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) and will recognize the achievements of Islander alumni as well as an Islander Athletic Hall of Honor inductee. Anchor Ballroom
  
  
• (Alumni Only) Toast! Reunion Mixer - Bus Downtown (7:30 p.m.)
  Let’s Make a Toast! Event at BUS in downtown Corpus Christi for all alumni to attend and celebrating the Class 10^th (2015) 25^th (2000), Aloha Days/Anchor Camp leaders and UCC Tarpons Class Reunions!

• Campus Brunch Tours - Mary & Jeff Bell Library (8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.)
  Join the Islander Alumni Association and the Island Ambassadors for a tour of campus. Your experience will include exclusive behind-the-scenes stops that you’ll only be able to see on this tour! Tickets start at $15 and include a full breakfast. Your morning on campus will begin and end with a full breakfast buffet at the Mary & Jeff Bell Library. We’ll have some South Texas breakfast favorites, plus a FULL mimosa bar. Arrive as you like, with breakfast opening at 8:00 AM, and the first tour departing at 8:30 AM. Tours will depart every 30 minutes through 10:30 AM. Breakfast service ends at 10:30 a.m.
  
  
• Islander Block Party and Tailgate - American Bank Center (Noon - 3 p.m.)
  The official Homecoming Block Party will take place at the American Bank Center parking lot between Noon-3 p.m. The public is invited to join the Islander faithful as we cheer our teams on to victory. This free event is family-friendly and will include games, inflatables, a petting zoo, music, and more!
  
  
• (Alumni Only) Alumni Corner at the Block Party - American Bank Center (Noon - 3 p.m.)
  This event is the spot to be to connect with classmates and meet fellow Islander alumni. Reconnect with a former professor or staff member, introduce the family to your friends and make new Islander Forever memories
  
  
• Islanders Women’s Basketball vs. Southeastern Louisiana Lions - American Bank Center (2 p.m.)
  
  
• Islanders Men’s Basketball vs. Southeastern Louisiana Lions - American Bank Center (4:30 p.m.)
