Your A-Number is another form of identification that is issued through the Registrar's office and used for different resources. Retrieve your Student ID by visiting MyIslandID.tamucc.edu "Forgot Student ID (A#)?".

Get your Student ID

An IslandID and password are necessary to sign into most University resources. These credentials are issued to students upon acceptance to the University. Emails explaining the account claim process are sent out 24-48 hours after acceptance. Once you receive the email from My IslandID, claim your account by following the link below and selecting "New User?". You will need to wait 30 minutes before accessing the account. Be sure to do so to avoid being locked out.

30 minutes after claiming your IslandID account, verify you can log into your University Email. The Islander email is the primary avenue of communication for University business, including correspondence from the Business Office, Financial Aid, Housing and Orientation.

Note: As students of the University, access to your IslandID account, email and Office 365 is retained for one year (365 days) after your date of last attendance. Any data stored in Office 365 needs to be retrieved prior to the end of this period. Additionally, it is important that you not use your student email for personal business subscriptions as your account will only be active while you are at TAMU-CC student and for only 365 days after you leave.

30 minutes after claiming your IslandID you should also log into your S.A.I.L. account. Select the Current Student login and sign in with your IslandID and password. S.A.I.L. is a secure student portal where you will access your student, academic, and financial aid records at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.  To prevent lock out issues, be sure that you sign out of S.A.I.L prior to closing your browser.

You will use your IslandID and password to connect to the Islander_Student wireless network.

Wireless Network Access. When your password is reset, you will need to Forget network and sign in with your new password.

New students must be registered for classes to obtain access to Canvas and will not be able to log into the system until the week before the first day of classes.  All registered courses are opened the week before classes begin unless otherwise set by the instructor.
