Letter from the VP
Within the Division of Institutional Advancement, it is our responsibility to ensure that Islander students have the resources they need to succeed. Our goal is to create valuable experiences for our students, and to support them throughout their academic journey and in their eventual professional success. By investing time and resources into our outstanding Islanders, we are directly investing in the success of our community’s future. It is our mission to engage past, current, and future Islanders to stay connected to our campus and community through philanthropy, community service and scholarly engagement.
Institutional Advancement also serves the University by initiating strategic measures and collaborating with community leaders to further the mission and vision of TAMU-CC. Through projects connecting the University to the Coastal Bend community and the world beyond, Institutional Advancement cultivates and maintains relationships with those who support the University in its goals to flourish as a top research institution in the state while benefiting the Coastal Bend.
Here at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, we are committed to the success of our students. With over 12,000 students pursuing degrees, our Island is filled with talent, potential, and the world’s next generation of innovators. As these students work hard toward their degrees and careers, it is our imperative to provide service excellence in all facets of our operations, and to successfully identify ways to improve our Islanders’ experiences here.
I am incredibly proud to represent the Division of Institutional Advancement as Vice President.
Shakas up and go Islanders!
