Outstanding Graduate Awards
The Outstanding Graduate Awards recognize graduate students, faculty, and alumni for exceptional achievements and contributions both academically and professionally.
Established in 2013 the awards showcase and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and impact of our Islander students and faculty to the graduate community and beyond.
2023-2024 Outstanding Award Nominations - NOW OPEN
The deadline to submit nominations is: November 3, 2023
The College of Graduate Studies will award seven awards to recognize outstanding graduate assistants, students, faculty, and alumni.
Awards include:
- Outstanding Master's Student
- Outstanding Doctoral/MFA Student
- Outstanding Teaching Assistant
- Outstanding Research Assistant
- Outstanding Master's Mentor Award
- Outstanding Doctoral/MFA Mentor Award
Eligibility Criteria for students include: 3.75 GPA and >50% of all graduate program work taken at TAMUCC.
- Outstanding Islander Impact Award (Alumni Award)
Eligibility Criteria for alumni: nominees must have earned a master's or doctoral degree from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
The 2024 award recipients will be announced in April at the Outstanding Graduate Awards ceremony scheduled during Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week. We look forward to sharing their inspirational stories with you soon.
