Art Foundations
The Foundations Studies program provides students with studio skills that build visual, conceptual, and creative abilities that are essential in their development as fine artists. In these required courses students will work closely with faculty on essential skills such as drawing, two-dimensional design, three-dimensional design, and color theory. Projects are designed to encourage exploration, questioning, and risk-taking. Group critiques are held at the conclusion of each project to provide students the opportunity to discuss intentions and processes while receiving critical feedback.
