Panhellenic Fall Recruitment

You can register by going to https://tamucc.mycampusdirector2.com/landing/. You will receive an email once the recruitment form is available to fill out. There is also a $50 registration fee that pays for things like your t-shirt, building rental fees, technology fees, and marketing materials.

If you are an incoming first year Islander, be sure to stop by Passport to the Island, the organization fair during Islander Launch (TAMUCC's freshmen orientation). All of our sororities will be tabling and this is a great time to meet them!

There are several other opportunities for you to stop by and chat with active sorority women as well as Recruitment Counselors and Panhellenic representatives once classes begin. These events are not mandatory, but are a great way to begin exploring sorority life.

If you are interested in Panhellenic recruitment, you'll need to attend one Potential New Member (PNM) Orientation.

If you cannot attend this event because of class, please email us at panhellenic@tamucc.edu to discuss other options or contact your Recruitment Counselor. We will go over all you will need to know about Panhellenic recruitment at these events, so it's really important to be there.

There are three rounds of formal recruitment:

• Sisterhood Day
• Philanthropy Day
• Preference Day

Finalized start and end times of these events will be revealed at PNM Orientation, but Video Day typically starts in the afternoon, while Philanthropy Day will take up the majority of your morning and afternoon, and Preference Day will take up most of your morning, afternoon, and some of your evening. 

Bid Day is also on Sunday evening, with the beginning part opening your bid and celebrating with your Recruitment Counselor group, then individual chapter celebrations.

When you register and pay for your participation in Panhellenic recruitment, you'll receive a t-shirt to wear on the first day (Sisterhood Day). You can wear jeans, shorts, a skirt, or anything else you're comfortable in on this day. 

On Saturday, dress is snappy casual - dresses, skirt/pants and blouses are all appropriate. 

For Sunday, dress is semi formal. Many women wear dresses, but we encourage you to wear what you are comfortable in.

Recruitment Counselors are specially trained women who guide a group of Potential New Members (PNMs) through the recruitment process. They are active members of their sororities and can provide you an inside look at what it means to be a sorority woman.

Recruitment Counselors are knowledgeable about all of our sororities on campus and can answer any questions you might have. They are available for questions or to listen if you're having a tough time making a decision. You will find out who your Recruitment Counselor is at PNM Orientation.

At TAMU-CC, we do not require recruitment packets or alumnae references be sent to our sororities. If you feel strongly about sending one, you may do so, but packets or alumnae references are not required for our community.
