It is important that you, their parent, be educated about the enriching experience that your child will find by being involved in a fraternity or sorority at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.

Please note that unrecognized groups are considered dangerous and students should not accept membership into ANY group that is not listed as recognized on our website. Unrecognized groups endanger the physical, mental, and academic well-being of members as they are unregulated and do not follow University policies and risk management standards.
For more information about the policies regulating social events, contact the Student Activities Office. If students, parents and/or community members have questions or concerns about the fraternity and sorority system, specifically in regards to disruptive behaviors, alcohol, and hazing activities, please consider one of the following options:
- contact the chapter leadership at the chapter(s) in question
- contact the Student Activities Office during office hours, Monday through Friday
- Email greeklife@tamucc.edu with questions and concerns
- contact the Student Engagement and Success Office during office hours, Monday through Friday
